According to Florida government site. Data for residents are as followed. 456105 cases. 26017 hospitalizations. 6586 deaths since this started. That's under 6% hospitalization rate with 50% of those over 65yrs and 81% of those over 45yrs. The death rate is 1.4% with 82% of third over 65yrs old and 92% of those over 55. So if under 55yrs old the death rate is 0.15% with a hospitalization rate of 2.4%. Care should be taken if over retirement age or if frequent interaction with seniors. But nationally according to the cdc the flu had killed more under the age of 16 than COVID.
