Michael Brown shooting: officer will not be charged, top prosecutor says

St. Louis County’s prosecutor said Thursday he will not bring charges against Darren Wilson, the former police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown, 18, in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. The prosecutor said a 5-month re-examination of the case had not found enough evidence to bring charges of murder against Wilson. Brown’s death was the trigger behind the launch of the BLM movement.

It was kind of obvious it was a justified shooting. I wonder why it took so long to resolve though. Unfortunately I feel this will add fuel to the fire from current political strife in the US.
