Dr. Fauci to testify before coronavirus subcommittee in Congress

The nation’s top infectious diseases expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci is set to testify before a coronavirus subcommittee in Congress on Friday. The testimony comes weeks after the Trump administration had refused to let him address the panel. Democrats have alleged that the government prevented the testimony by saying Dr. Fauci was busy in July, and only relented after James Clyburn wrote to Mike Pence.
