Brazil judge fines Facebook for not blocking Bolsonaro supporters

A Brazilian high court judge imposed a 1.92M reais ($367,710) fine on Facebook Friday for failing to internationally block 12 accounts of supporters of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro implicated in a fake news inquiry. Facebook said it would appeal the decision, and said it respects the laws of countries where it operates, but that ’Brazilian law recognizes the limits of its jurisdiction.’
