Georgia student expelled for racist social media reinstated

Wesleyan College in Georgia reinstated a student, expelled for racist social media posts, after an appeal revealed the student did not post the content. The expulsion was announced Jun 4 after multiple accounts on social media highlighted posts by a woman purporting to be a Wesleyan student. The student maintained ’the words were added by someone who downloaded her photo and then reposted it’.

Lol, this is why you don't jump the gun. It also makes me laugh that the same people who claim higher education is a right (not a privilege) expel others for online posts.

Cancel culture is very dangerous. You can literally do nothing at all and someone can post two or three photos on the internet and BAM! You're expelled from school and everyone thinks you're a frothing racist and BLM shows up at your doorstep demanding your lynching.
