Trump threatens executive action if deal on stimulus bill not reached soon

White House chief of staff Mark Meadow said Trump would take executive action to extend both extra jobless benefits and the eviction moratorium if Dems and the White House fail to strike a deal. Trump, meanwhile, said that though he is optimistic but wouldn’t hesitate to take executive action if talks come to a stalemate. ’We are looking at various other things I’m allowed to do under the system.’
