Joe Biden campaign to spend $280mn on ads in 15 States

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign unveiled a $280mn ad target saying it will keep the presumptive Dem. nominee ’on offense’ in 15 states, including Republican-leaning states where Dem. have not seriously competed in decades. The ad budget consists of $220mn in television ads and $60mn in digital ads. In comparable Trump’s planned $145mn target is smaller as well as limited to fewer states.

Biden will air the ads across 15 states, some of which traditionally lean red: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Arizona, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, Colorado, Virginia, Georgia, Iowa, Ohio and Texas. His campaign said a "significant" number of the ads will be more than a minute long. Biden is keen on posing a super serious challenge to Trump. He is not taking this race lightly, and I reckon Trump would do well to not underestimate him. However, it remains to be seen if he will be able to hold up against Trump in any of the presidential debates. If he falters and ends up making a fool of himself, any amount of ad blitz might not save him from a potential rout.
