Trump advocates for school reopenings

President Trump continued to push for schools to physically reopen in the fall, asserting that COVID-19 is ’going away’. ’It will go away like things go away and my view is that schools should be open’, Trump said in a phone interview. Trump added that children are ’almost immune’ from COVID-19, stressing ’I have watched some doctors say they’re totally immune’.

https://newsvoice.com/i/4835507 This is what happened when a school in Indiana reopened. Can the government ensure that every kid who does attend school has been tested and is covid negative? Rushing into reopening might just put lives at peril. Also, since the pandemic will definitely linger for a while, can homeschooling be a viable alternative? Or is this simply my privilege speaking?
