Judge throws out House GOP lawsuit seeking to block proxy voting

A federal judge Thursday threw out a House GOP lawsuit alleging that the proxy voting system approved by House Dems is unconstitutional. Judge Rudolph Contreras ruled that federal courts have no power to review strictly legislative acts. Though he noted that such broad power to the House could give rise to ’troubling’ hypotheticals, the proxy voting system, Contreras said, had no such implications

The judge noted that such broad power could give rise to "troubling" hypotheticals" -- no kidding, as the vote by proxy just means the Democrat partisan voting mechanism is just further enshrined into the day to day business of the House of Representatives. Might as well just call it the House of "What does Nancy want to do today."
