South Dakota town braces for 100,000 bikers amid Covid threat

A quarter of a million people are expected to attend the 10-day annual Sturgis motorcycle rally in South Dakota from Friday despite fears it could lead to a massive coronavirus outbreak. In June, city officials decided to go ahead with the rally despite over 60% of Sturgis residents responding in a survey that they want it canceled. The rally injects $800m into the state’s economy.

I wonder if all the right wingers whining about BLM spreading COVID-19 (even though there is no proof) will make as much a fuss about these bikers who will definitely not be wearing a mask, unlike the BLM protestors
