Such ridiculous nonsense. It takes MONTHS to get an eviction under normal circumstances. Imagine how slow the courts are working now. Besides, who is going to evict their usually-prompt remnants because they are a little behind? Are there a lot of people wanting to move into those units right now? People who somehow have 3-4 months rent money as well as funds for moving? The landlords will certainly work out deals with current tenants to defer the past-due balance until later. You don't throw out good tenants when EVERYONE is having money problems. Stop the illogical fear-mongering.
They can't pay rent, so throw them out into the street! Winter is coming so let them freeze to death while the houses sit empty. Ain't capitalism great?!
This 'at risk of eviction' bit is a bunch of fear mongering that has been going on for months now.
This is the reality many people who disparaged the homeless, will have to live. So, you have no home, your car has been taken away. You have no job, no money. Where do you sleep, eat, shower? Where do you go to the bathroom? Where do you get toilet paper? Wash your clothes? Where do you stay that is safe if you have no family? They took away the only possession you had, your tent, when they broke up the last homeless camp, what do you do now? Sleep outside of an office building? Hospital? City Hall?
Seriously, WHAT ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO DO?
This is what happens when the House of Representatives is led by a child 🧒.
Hoorah! Capitalism at its finest!
Nice to see where the left hangs out...
Sad more haven't been evicted. The Military Industrial Corporation Oligarchy needs to be violently dismantled before there's chaos. "Protection" just makes them slumber.
