Barclays being probed by UK privacy watchdog on accusations of spying on staff

Barclays Plc is being probed by the United Kingdom’s privacy watchdog, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), over allegations that the British bank spied on its staff through a computer monitoring software, the Telegraph reported. The paper said Barclays faces a maximum fine of 865 million pounds ($1.1 billion) if it’s found to have broken data privacy laws.
