Meadows does not want Trump to deliver his convention speech at the White House

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said he wants Trump to deliver his nomination speech ’miles away’ from the White House after the president floated the idea of delivering it on White House grounds. Though the Hatch Act, that bars the use of government property and employees for political activities, exempts the president, the event could risk ordering govt staffers to violate the Act.
