’Substantial chance’ of no results on election night, says FEC Commissioner

Ellen Weintraub, the Commissioner of the Federal Elections Commission warned that there is a ’substantial chance’ that results for the presidential election and down ballot races might not be released on election night. This might be the case as more voters look to shift to mail in ballots due to concerns over COVID-19. She also noted that Kentucky saw an increase in absentee voting recently

If the Democrats are so worried that Trump will not give up his presidency if he loses the elections, shouldn't they push for a format of voting which has the least chance of rigging i.e. people actually going out and casting their votes? And are we really saying that the USA doesn't have the infrastructure to manage an election like that without having a spread of the virus?
