Russia unveils first COVID-19 vaccine

Russia registered world’s first Covid-19 vaccine, marking a milestone in the global race to find a vaccine against Covid-19, but raising safety concerns in the West over accelerated clinical evaluations. Scientists at the Moscow-based Gamaleya Institute have employed military testing, accelerated clinical evaluations and shortened test trial times in an attempt to be the first with the vaccine.

Lots of countries could be releasing vaccines if they all decided to skip phase 3 testing like Russia.

It has to be asked: Will people be willing to inoculate themselves with this vaccine? And if yes, why? Especially considering that the phase 3 trials are still on.
