Coronavirus deaths in nursing homes might have been under-counted by New York:AP

An analysis by the Associated Press claims that the state of New York could have under-reported its novel coronavirus induced deaths in nursing homes significantly due to its counting methods. AP noted that New York counts residents as assisted living fatalities in case they die on the facility’s premises, but not if they die in hospitals. The state has counted 6,600 fatalities in nursing homes.
