Sumner Redstone, the media legend who built ViacomCBS has died on Tuesday at age 97. Redstone was born in 1923 and over several decades built a media empire. He got his start in media in 1954 when he joined his family’s small business running a few drive-in movie theaters. Over the next few decades, he turned the business into one of the nation’s largest movie-theater chains, National Amusements.
Never heard of “National Amusements”
COVID-19 got him too.
Good. Outright creepy media empire!
