Michigan reveals plans to build special Roads for autonomous vehicles only

Michigan has revealed an ambitious plan to build roads that are merely for autonomous vehicles. It would cover the distance of around 40 miles, and it would run between Detroit and Ann Arbor. The roads could be built alongside Michigan Avenue and I-94 and used at first for testing, as well as public transportation using autonomous shuttles.

Honestly this sounds like a good Idea in theory. But legally liabilities are preventing auotonomous vehicle more than, technology, buracracy, or anything else really. That's not keeping in mind how people will react when said vehicle runs over some. Likely a protester with how often they spontaneous close down streets.

Oh good. That's MUCH more of a priority than clean water in Flint or jobs in Detroit.
