Wildfire explodes north of Los Angeles, prompting evacuation orders

A brush fire quickly burnt thousands of acres in the north of Los Angeles, prompting evacuation orders and road closures in the Lake Hughes area. The Lake Fire, was reported at ~3:45 p.m., according to the LACFD . At ~4 p.m., officials said the fire was ~50 acres. By 4:30 p.m., the flames burned 400 acres. About two hours later, flames quickly spread to about 10,000 acres, with 0% containment.
