An upcoming parole hearing might give a new lease of life to a man from Louisiana who has been sentenced to life after he attempted to steal hedge clippers in 1997. The 62 year old man named Fair Wayne Bryant had a review of his case denied by the Louisiana Supreme Court in the previous month. However, his next chance to come out of jail will now come on October 15 at a parole hearing.
Good luck to this man. Hopefully he can get that sentence reduced or dropped, as a life sentence for petty theft is, I think we can all agree, really dumb.
