Clinesmith, an ex-FBI lawyer, to plead guilty in Durham probe
Kevin Clinesmith, a former FBI attorney revealed that he intends to plead guilty to having falsified a document to justify the surveillance of a former adviser of the Trump campaign as part of the 2016 investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential elections. This plea is the first criminal case being brought by US Attorney John Durham. He has been appointed by AG Barr.
