Federal judges question Florida on felon voting rights case

A panel of federal judges questioned lawyers about a decision by Florida as per which felons are required to pay off all fines and court fees before they can cast their vote. This case is being seen as one that will have important ramifications for the 2020 presidential election. 10 judges from the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit asked if the requirements equalled a modern-day ’poll tax.’

If you are convicted and in jail you don't get to vote. If you have served your time and are out you are a citizen and should be able to cast your vote like anyone else, regardless of fees or bond owed.
