Kim Jong Un reportedly hands part of his power to sister Kim Yo Jong

As per SK’s spy agency, Kim Jong Un has delegated part of his authority to his younger sister, Kim Yo Jong, to help him cope with his mounting stress in leading NK. The NIS said that the sister now serves as his de facto second-in-command,’ though she has not been designated his successor yet. Also the power shift partly seeks to relieve his stress and avert culpability in event of policy failure.

Once upon a time, I did a little study into governments, and the fates of their empires. Funny thing about Dictatorships ... once the leader's vigilance slips, they tend to be dead pretty fast, often facilitated by the people that served them directly. He's probably aware that he's hated. Passing power is how he avoids pitchforks and torches. The people have time, now that they don't have to walk their dogs.
