Emergency request filed by Trump lawyers to prevent subpoena of his tax records
United States President Donald Trump’s lawyers on Friday filed an emergency request for a federal appeals court to put on hold a subpoena for his financial documents and tax returns until a higher court can decide on the matter. The filing comes after Victor Marrero, a US District Judge denied the President’s request to put his decision dismissing the lawsuit on hold.
