An appeals court has allowed Uber & Lyft to continue treating their drivers as independent contractors until their appeal works through the court. The companies were set to suspend the services in their largest US market after a judge ruled that they had violated the state’s Assembly Bill 5, which requires companies to classify their workers as employees if they control how workers do their jobs.
This is apply for all companies small and large or just Uber and Lyft
