More fires feared in California due to change in weather
Parts of Northern California are bracing for possibly more fires as a change in weather has brought in higher winds, temperatures and more lightning. Firefighters have been battling three huge ’complexes’ of fires for nearly a week, which have consumed hundreds of homes and forced tens of thousands to flee. Firefighters have made slow progress, with evacuation orders being lifted in some areas.
