Christchurch mosque gunman to face survivors at four-day sentencing hearing

The Australian Ethno-Nationalist who killed 51 Muslim worshippers at two mosques in New Zealand last year will face survivors and victims’ family members on Monday at a sentencing hearing. The gunman, Brenton Tarrant, 29, pleaded guilty in March to 51 counts of murder, 40 counts of attempted murder and one count of terrorism. Tarrant is likely to be jailed for life for the rampage.

He pleaded guilty to 51 murders and 40 attempted murders and all he’s getting is life in prison? He deserves the death penalty, period. He didn’t kill zealots or ISIS recruits, he killed innocent people and he deserves to pay with his own life. I know some countries don’t have death penalties but I can’t wrap my head around this one, they should make an exception and rid the world of this animal.
