Belarus protesters flood into Minsk as army issues warning

Tens of thousands of defiant protesters flooded central Minsk Sunday, turning the vast square outside of parliament into a sea of red and white after opposition leaders called for a huge rally to demand the resignation of President Lukashenkoin, even as the army waded into the political crisis, warning that the military rather than police would respond to unrest near the city’s national memorials.
