Acting DHS chief claims no authority to deploy federal agents at polling booths
Chad Wolf, the Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security said that the DHS has no authority to deploy federal agents at polling locations in November, despite President Donald Trump having said that he would have law enforcement personnel present at polling stations on Election Day. Commenting on the same, Mr. Wolf said ’That’s not what we do at the Department of Homeland Security’.
