Trump deadline for drug pricing order passes; Action awaited

A deadline set by President Trump for moving forward with an executive order to lower drug prices has passed at midnight on Tuesday. After holding a signing ceremony on July 24 for four executive orders aimed at lowering drug prices, Trump delayed the order for one month, saying he wanted to give the pharma industry time to make a deal. It remains to be seen the next course of action.
