Facebook removes Kenosha Guard page following deadly shooting

Facebook removed the page for the Kenosha Guard, a group which had posted a ’call to arms’ following days of protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It also took down the group’s listing for an event called ’Armed Citizens to Protect our Lives and Property’. The company also removed the Facebook and Instagram accounts of the alleged shooter Kyle Rittenhouse who was arrested on Wednesday.

Facebook and GoFundMe have both deplatformed Rittenhouse; the kid may have broken the law by open-carrying inside of Wisconsin but that is it. People SHOULD be allowed to fund him and his family if they wish.
