Chemical plant fire in Lake Charles caused by Hurricane Laura

After making landfall on Thursday morning, Hurricane Laura caused a chemical plant fire in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Taking to Twitter, John Bel Edwards, the Governor of Louisiana advised residents in the Westlake/Moss Bluff/Sulphur area to shelter in place and close their windows and doors until further notice. He also requested residents to turn their air conditioning units off.
