Thousands of people gathered at March on Washington commemorations

Civil rights advocates, at a commemoration of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, highlighted the scourge of police and vigilante violence against Black Americans after a week of protests over the police shooting of a Black man in Wisconsin. Thousands have come together on Friday near the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his ’I Have A Dream’ speech.

I simply do not recognize these people as successors to MLK, and I think there is a fair argument that groups like BLM, etc are actually in opposition to his ideals.
