More than 200 trapped by wildfire in California rescued by military helicopters

More than 200 people were rescued by helicopters overnight into early Sunday after they got trapped by the raging Creek Fire near Mammoth Pool Reservoir northeast of Fresno, California. Two of the rescued were ’severely injured’ while the rest had minor or no injuries. Governor Newsom has declared a state of emergency in five counties - Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, San Bernardino and San Diego.
