Eight people convicted in the killing of Jamal Khashoggi

Saudi Arabia has jailed five people for 20 years each in relation to the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi. Three others have also been charged at Riyadh Criminal Court, receiving sentences ranging between seven and 10 years. The trial has been criticized world-over with many noting no senior officials, or anyone suspected of ordering the killing, having been found guilty.
