School closures due to Covid-19 will hit economic output for generations: OECD

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development predicted that the skills lost due to the closure of school for the coronavirus pandemic will have a detrimental effect on the economic output of countries for years. In a report, the OECD said the shutdown of schools will translate into a loss of $15.3 trillion for the United States alone.
