As US sanctions come to effect against Chinese tech giant Huawei, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are going to stop providing Huawei with memory chips, according to a media report. In August, the US expanded restrictions on Huawei and added 38 of the Chinese company’s affiliates to its Entity List of companies that are considered as risks to national security or foreign policy interests.
I'm surprised that hasn't happened sooner given the Chinese approach to other people's IP. They don't play by the same rules as everyone else and until they do they should be shunned. No market is worth compromising your standards over.
