Now, Myanmar erases names of Rohingya villages after ethnic cleansing

The United Nations has said that Myanmar has erased the names of some Rohingya villages from its official records after burning and bulldozing them three years ago in a major crackdown on the predominantly Muslim ethnic group. The Myanmar army and Buddhist extremist groups killed scores of Rohingya people, prompting around 750,000 members of the community to flee the country.
