Deadline for TikTok sale won’t be extended, Trump says

President Donald Trump said his administration won’t extend the mid-September deadline for China-based ByteDance to sell TikTok to an American company. Several US companies are negotiating with ByteDance to buy TikTok in the United States. TikTok faces a ban in the US if it can’t reach an agreement with a buyer before the deadline. TikTok has filed a lawsuit claiming violation of due process.

The only reason why Tik Tok is a thing is because Twitter bought Vine and killed it a few years back. I say just ban Tik Tok and build a new brand with a similar business model but better here in America.

I love how it said china would rather shut it down. So what your saying is the CCP has control over the company to make this decision. And they wonder why there being band.

I like it, how dare the US bully a company to sell... Really, do people not see this? The US has been economic terrorists for a long time now, but Americans don't want to see there own shit...

Funny how that comes from China, government that forces all foreign companies to work through third parties instead of directly.
