Canada reports no new deaths linked to COVID-19 for the first time in 6 months

On Friday, the Public Health Agency of Canada reported that the country has witnessed no new deaths linked to COVID-19 for the first time since March. Over 6 million people had been tested on Friday from which 2.1% were positive. According to a report by the John Hopkins University, Canada has 137,676 COVID-19 cases and 9,214 deaths as of Saturday.
