19 black families buy 97 acres of land in Georgia for racist commune

Nineteen black families have purchased a 97-acre tract of land in rural Georgia in hopes of founding a city where they can self-segregate. The land for the city, to be named ’Freedom,’ in the town of Toomsboro, was purchased in August by families now calling themselves the ’Freedom Georgia Initiative.’The sales price of the tract, which was pooled by the families, was $1.7M.
