Lego to stop single use plastic; use eco-friendly paper bags for packaging

The LEGO Group has confirmed its plans to wrap up its products in recyclable paper instead of single use plastic. The Danish toymaker said that the new packaging will commence in 2021, as part of a $400mn investment into sustainability initiatives over the next three years. It added that the bags were under development for the past two years on back of feedbacks received from children.
