Scientists find gas linked to living organisms in atmosphere of Venus

Scientists have detected an unstable and unexpected gas in Venus’ atmosphere that, on Earth at least, is commonly produced by some microbes. The find could be a sign of life in the upper cloudy atmosphere of the molten world where conditions are considerably less hellish. ’The gas is at higher levels than known methods of production.’ Astrobiologist Lewis Dartnell explains.
