Ship with no crew set to sail across the Atlantic

One of the world’s first autonomous transatlantic voyages is set to be made by a full-size, fully autonomous research ship. IBM and a non-profit marine research organization, Promare, have worked together to build the Mayflower Autonomous Ship (MAS). The ship will travel to Plymouth, Massachusetts after launching from Plymouth in the United Kingdom on the 16th of September, 2020.
