EU chief bashes Polish ’LGBT-free zones’

EU chief bashes Polish ’LGBT-free zones’

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has strongly denounced the stigmatization of LGBT people by authorities in Poland. ’They have no place in our Union’, she said about the ’LGBT-free zones’. She added that the commission would soon put forward a strategy to strengthen LGBT rights. One-third of Poles live in communities that have passed resolutions opposing promotion of LGBT rights.

This is where I feel like people like me have trouble having representation on either side of the political spectrum. I personally have a mixture of conservative AND classical liberal views on these subjects. I have an alternative sexuality and relationship, but I cannot support LGBTQ political groups (especially any that venture into the pedo realm, which I find to be one of the most evil things besides murder). I hate prejudice and bigotry. I moved more right of center because I became so disgusted with anti-white bigots, anti-hetero bigots, anti-cis bigots, anti-americanism, anti-religious bigots etc., but that puts me in the same group as the old anti-LGBTQ bigots and anti-POC bigots. I really don't like people pushing sexuality of any type (homosexual or heterosexual) onto children or young adults and I don't think that strangers and non-family members should be talking to anyone's children about sex, on the other hand I think there are young adults who are developing same-sex attraction that are vilified by their own families and will even end up on the streets or in prostitution because of that rejection. Those people need help and support so they don't end up with severe mental issues or dead in a ditch somewhere. I don't think that people should march in the streets flaunting their naked bodies and performing sex acts, but I think that appropriate pda's should be available to anyone without vilification equally (holding hands and small kisses, not making out. At the very least, if you're okay with it with straight couples, you should be okay with it with gay or bi couples. One rule for everyone!). I believe firmly in freedom of speech, so I believe in being able to discuss sexuality in appropriate public forums of political or public discourse and art and entertainment are fair game as well as long as overt sexuality is generally left out of family-friendly places, art, and entertainment. So where the hell do I belong? I have no representation and there is no reasonable middle ground on these subjects any more. I'm just so disgusted by both sides. All the progressives with their hateful SJW and feminist bigotry, all the religious zealots with their traditional hateful bigotry, they're in the same exact camp to me. Why does everyone have to have someone to hate for such ridiculous dumb arbitrary reasons? Why can't we have a party with a common sense approach that loves and benefits everyone? Why do people have to indulge in their own flaws instead of trying to grow and find actual solutions to life's problems? I kinda just feel like I don't really fit in anywhere. It's really sad that someone who just says "I really just don't want to hate anyone if they're not hurting anyone else" has no place in our society.
