Hurricane Sally intensified into Category 2 storm; incessant rains expected

Hurricane Sally intensified to Category 2 storm with 105 mph winds on early Wed. as it continued to move towards northern Gulf Coast. Sally is expected to cause flooding owing to incessant rains, ferocious winds and life-threatening storm surges along the Mississippi, Alabama and Florida coasts, as per prediction from forecasters. It has already dumped 12.71 inches of rain in Pensacola, Florida.

Been through the eye of category 2 and 3 (been hit by 12 hurricanes). Cat 2's are a walk in the park. Wake up, make breakfast and coffee on the grill, expect to be without power for a few days, expect to use your chainsaw to clear the road (again, and again and again). Hurricanes aren't news. Same thing every year for millions of years.
