Iran tells UN top court US sanctions violate bilateral friendship treaty

Iran told the International Court of Justice – the UN’s top court in The Hague – that the harsh sanctions the United States imposed on Iran in 2018 had violated a decades-old bilateral friendship treaty between Tehran and Washington. Iran asked judges to reject the US’s argument that ICJ had no jurisdiction in this case and said, ’The US disregarded the very foundation of international law.’

“Decades -old bilateral friendly treaty”. What a joke. Lies after lies are spewed from that country and they’re not ashamed of it.
