Utah officer charged with felony for ordering K9 attack on black man
A police officer in Salt Lake City, Utah was charged with second-degree felony assault after a video showed him ordering a K9 dog to attack a black man in his own yard who had complied with his order to raise his hands. Officer Nickolas Pearce was charged with aggravated assault in which he ordered his dog to bite Jeffery Ryans after responding to a domestic dispute call on April 23.
