’I believe he was confused’, Trump says, refuting Redfield’s vaccine timeline

President Trump on Wednesday contradicted the CDC Director’s estimate around a COVID-19 vaccine timeline, instead predicting availability of the vaccine as early as Oct. Earlier, Dr. Redfield told a panel of Senate lawmakers not to expect a vaccine to become widely available until the summer of 2021. ’I think he made a mistake when he said that’, Trump said, adding, ’I believe he was confused’.

So he was confused when he said everyone should wear masks and also that the vaccine won't realistically be done before the election? 🤦No I think Trump is confused that we are''t all just buying his BS since he is the most obvious and delusional liar on the planet.

Perhaps the operative words are "widely available". The CDC likely know the production time lines to produce significant quantities.

Is it possible he could have made a mistake?
