With a single year death toll of 80,000 from h1n1 in US a couple years ago, it should be helpful if we could compare those with Covid. But that data is not easily ascertained. We do not reckon the deaths by the same standard. Only 6% of the 200,000 reported US Covid deaths are from Covid only. That's up to date, 12,000 total Covid US deaths. So is it 200,000 covid vs 80,000 flu? Or 12,000 covid vs 80,000 flu? Or maybe somewhere in the middle? After all these months, the objective comparison to the flu is still relevant. That's news. Sadly , the data based on the same standards do not exist.

"Wait?! You told me that masks were effective to protect me? " "And that our training on proper use of PPE would protect us from infection?" Masks, face shields, gloves, repeated sanitizing... I realize the mask proponents, and advocates that wear them assume that they have some moral high ground over those who choose not to wear them. But it's not based on science. Mote usa id Patriotic. It's fearmongering that justifies government overreach, on the one side that dictates suchk mandates. And on the other side is submission, those that fall prey to the fear-speach. They justify their submission by shaming others for not capitulating to the same exaggerated threats that have motivated them. It's audacious. Anything that threatens Liberty must be carefully scrutinized. And in order to maintain freedom, we must not willingly surrender it. Yet, his attack has been effective. Sadly, we must expect more to come.
